Who are we? And why did we start with a chambre d'hôtes? And why in the middle of the Cathare country?
As the hectic and stressful life in Belgium slowly started to catch up with us, we decided to go for a radical change in our life and to plunge into a completely new challenge.
Our quest ended right here in Lasbordes, a small village in the Cathare country near Carcassonne. We slowly fell in love with the area, the environment and the way of life. Then we looked for and found a charming property which seemed to be the perfect place to establish our very own chambre d'hôtes. Our adventure had found its starting point.
"We", that is Chris & Stef. 
We abandoned our family and friends in the Flemish region of Belgium to try and make our Cathare country dream come true. We're in our early forties, adore the sun and the midi mentality, and gladly open the doors of our property and its chambres d'hôtes for you.
Come and visit us for a relaxing stay in a homelike atmosphere. We'll provide tasty and enjoyable meals daily and will assist you with pleasure in planning your excursions or other activities (you can already consult our weblinks for a taste of the possibilities in the area).
The Cathare country has a very rich cultural background. Carcassonne and its mediaeval city centre are a absolute must for visitors. All sports freaks will undoubtably find their heart's desire in the extensive offer of the area (water sports, biking, walking, etc.). The romanticists will be delighted by the scenery that the canal du midi has to offer.

One quite important detail is the accessibility of our guest facilities for disabled people. We are currently still stuck in the middle of our renovations but plan to offer at least one room with the appropriate accomodation.
